What safety measures are in place for those children who attend SEND QUEST?

We have Safeguarding, data protection and Health and safety policies that can be made available to you upon request.

 Can I book more than one session at a time?

Yes, you can book as many as you like. We recommend regularity and consistency for the children. 

Do I need to bring a snack for my child?

Yes, if you think you child will need to refuel.

Will I always needs to stay with my child during a session?

Yes for the time being you will. They need to settle. Once we are happy with how they are doing we will discuss next steps with you on an individual basis.

Does my child have to wear a SEND QUEST t-shirt?

No. this is optional.

How long is each session?

Each session is 2 hours however the child can leave whenever they choose.

What activities will there be?

We have a wide range of activities that focus on STEM, social and emotional exploration and development. We try to ensure that the activities promote sharing, cooperation, communication and self-expression. Each week, this will vary depending on the children booked to attend. Wherever possible, each of their interests will be accommodated.

Do you have anyone first aid trained?

Yes, there is always at least one person in the session who is first aid trained with access to a first aid kit.
